Junior ProgramThe Junior Program gives young climbers, 10-18 years of age, an opportunity to train together under the guidance of experienced coaches. This instruction is supportive and encouraging, the goal of which is to build confidence and a sense of camaraderie among the participants, along with a love of rock climbing and physical and mental exercise. The Junior Program meets every Friday, from 3:30 to 5:30 P.M.
The Junior Program is also a training ground for kids who want to join our Crux Junior Team; many Junior Program graduates become Junior Team members. Our Junior Team travels to many climbing competitions on the West Coast. Our team has had great success - six members of our team were chosen in 1996 to compete at the World Championships in Moscow, Russia!
The cost is $175 for a three month membership and three month membership ($225 with gear). An annual membership is preferable, because of the hours required for practice.
