Lessons
Introduction to ClimbingOur introductory course is for first time climbers who need to learn the basics. The emphasis is on climbing safety - knots, belaying, and lowering - as well as on proper climbing technique and body positioning.Next Step (Hand, Foot, and Body Techniques)
Intro course stats:Prepayment and reservations are required.
- Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Cost: $45 for one-and-a-half hour lessonTreat your friends or co-workers to an afternoon or evening of climbing! This is for groups that want to climb together--and no experience is necessary! Sessions may be scheduled during closed hours for your enjoyment. In this two-hour session, your group will learn the basics of climbing and belaying, with lots of time just for fun. This session can be scheduled on weekdays or weekends according to your needs.Corporate Teambuilding Workshops
Cost: $25 per person (gear included) for two-hour lessonClimbing is an exciting and powerful way to develop the skills needed to build a strong team in the workplace. This is designed to pick up where the other courses left off. In a one-on-one coaching environment, you will learn expert techniques and body positioning, and effective mental preparation and attitude. This is offered by appointment only, as it is an individualized course, and as much as possible is scheduled at your convenience.Return to topCost: $35 per hour, or $30 per hour for five or more sessions
Women's NightThis is an evening especially for women who are interested in climbing, learning, and sharing. We invite women of any and all skill levels, abilities, and ages to join us in an atmosphere of encouragement, camadarerie, and sisterhood. We meet every Monday night from 6:30 to 8:30. There is no cost for annual members; for non-members, the cost is $12, which includes a pass and gear for that day.
Waiver FormAll climbers are required to have a signed waiver form on file before climbing. Minors must have a form signed by a parent or legal guardian.

- Go west off I-5 onto Route 105/126.
- Get in the left lane, and drive to the end.
- Turn left onto 7th Avenue, to Washington or Lincoln.
- Then turn left on Washington or Lincoln.
- Go across the train tracks to 3rd and Lawrence (between Washington and Lincoln).
- The Crux is in the historic Eugene Planing Mill building, along with Ron's Island Grill, and across the street from REI.
